Hill-Rom Self Inflating Mattress Overlay NP140 replaces previously stocked SimCair Mattress Overlay.

Hill-Rom NP140 Overlay offers a unique combination of air and foam. The viscoelastic foam combined with high-resilient foam enables the person to sink into the surface of the overlay, thus achieving high redistribution of body weight with overall reduced interface pressure. Reduced interface pressure ensures effective pressure relief and high levels of comfort.

Hill-Rom NP140 Self Inflating Mattress Overlay is suitable for patients at risk of pressure sores.

The NP140 Overlay is coated with a conformable and durable polyurethane cover. The polyurethane cover is waterproof, pliable, kind to the skin and easy to clean. The polyurethane cover provides a non-slip interface with the mattress underneath, enhancing safety of patients and their carers.

The Hill-Rom NP140 Overlay is a self inflating non powered system with dual high flow valves that ensure automatic instant self inflation of the overlay.

The NP140 overlay is light weight, portable and compact. You can carry it rolled up in a re-usable carry bag for immediate and quick inflation, when required.

Silicon cushion offers all the features required for a comfortable, safe and stable sitting experience on wheelchairs and other sitting surfaces and in varying outdoor and indoor temperatures for many hours at a time. The air cells system interwoven throughout the entire body of the cushion provide continuous access of air and facilitate highly beneficial ventilation that controls and reduces temperature build-up and minimises formation of moisture and sweating.

The entire silicon cushion is made from a soft yet firmly supportive solid silicon. The sitting surface is gently contoured for the optimum multi-directional sitting stability and lasting support. The sitting surface is super smooth and soft and has softly tapered edges. During use, the silicon moulds itself gently around the user's bottom, readily flexing in response to user's movements. Original shape is restored, when not in use with no compression related permanent deformities occurring.
