The Rio IPL 8000 Hair Remover enables you to achieve salon results in the privacy of your own home. At 35 mm x 15 mm the spot size is relatively large with up to 180 hairs targeted at once. Rio IPL 8000 is very safe to use and you can perform your hair removal treatments in the privacy of your home with great confidence.

Intense Pulsed Light Technology destroys the hair roots without causing damage to the surrounding tissues. For the IPL to be effective your skin should be fair to olive colour and your hair should be darker than your skin. Best results are achieved when the skin is pale and the hair is prominently darker.

Hair removal treatment with Rio IPL 8000 is very effective and fast. However, you must bear in mind that the hair removal is not 100% permanent and that some of the removed hair will re-grow and require further treatments or maintenance regime. The IPL hair removal treatment is only effective in the active growth phase of your hair (called Anagen Growing Phase). At any one time, only a limited percentage of your hair is actively growing. To catch all your unwanted hairs in the active growth phase will require several treatments over many months (i.e. a minimum of 6 months). Thereafter, a quick treatment every 4 - 6 weeks should be performed to ensure disabled hairs remain dormant and to maintain hair free skin.
