DocLaser is a portable LLLT laser device for self treatments of a variety of musculoskeletal problems and painful conditions. DocLaser is a low level laser therapy device that you can apply effectively, safely and conveniently in the privacy of your own home. You do not need to have any special training or medical knowledge to self treat your diagnosed painful conditions with DocLaser. DocLaser has been designed to guide you through your entire course of treatments step by step, facilitating fast recoveries and help to prevent recurrence of problems.

LLLT (low level laser therapy) is a type of non invasive electrotherapy recognised for its pain relieving analgesic effects, tissue healing and cellular regeneration properties. Low level laser therapy is an effective and safe therapeutic modality that can be applied as a standalone therapy or alongside other rehabilitation treatments, such as physiotherapy, chiropractic interventions, osteopathy or medication.

DocLaser handsetDocLaser is a Class 4 laser and a certified Class 2b Medical Device (CE0068 MDD 93/42/EEC). It has been designed with user safety and therapeutic effectiveness in mind. DocLaser is intended for self administered treatments by private individuals. No special training is essential to operate DocLaser. The user must read and understand user manual prior to first treatment application.

DocLaser is eye safe and wearing safety goggles is not essential. However, the user may wish to wear safety glasses during use. Safety glasses can be purchased as an optional extra.

Without any medical knowledge on your part, the DocLaser is able to plan a complete course of treatments, assessing your recovery progress and modifying the treatment accordingly to your changing needs.

DocLaser features integrated software that makes the laser device not only intelligent, but also very user friendly, interactive, clear and communicative.

The simple and clear language used by the software allows the immediate understanding of the messages and instructions. The step by step instructions are easily understood even by users who have no previous experience with medical equipment or laser devices.

DocLaser software is intuitive.By entering relevant details (i.e. height, weight, skin colour, age, pain location and self-evaluation of symptoms severity) into the DocLaser handset, the DocLaser software is able to plan a complete course of appropriate treatments to relieve your condition.

As you progress with the treatments, the DocLaser compares the changes in your painful symptoms with pre-set treatment protocols and assesses therapeutic effectiveness of your treatment. Large proportion of the protocols is associated with pain presenting in specific anatomical areas of the body. Of the remaining protocols, 6 protocols are not directly associate with pain in a specific area, 3 refer to physical problems arising in different parts of the body and 3 further protocols address specific benefits of laser biostimulation (i.e. pain reduction, anti-inflammatory effect, decontraction/relaxation).

DocLaser user.DocLaser is designed for safe home use.

The users should follow the contraindication directions listed in user manual. If the users adhere to listed contraindications, the worst outcome arising from the treatments will be simply an absence of positive results. If such case arises, the DocLaser will display a message referring to the lack of results and suggest that the user abandons the unsuccessful treatment.

DocLaser is eye safe and can be used without protective eyewear. However, some users may wish to purchase optional eye safety glasses for added eye safety from our online shop for optional use with DocLaser.

DocLaser contraindications

  • You must not use the DocLaser if you have suspected or diagnosed or fully developed neoplasia.
  • Not for use during pregnancy or when suffering with epilepsy.
  • Do not use on haemorrhagic areas, on infected areas (i.e. contaminated open wounds), on herpes zoster or herpes simplex and when suffering general infections.
  • Do not use on children under the age of 16.
  • Do not expose your eyes directly to the laser beam.
  • No particular precautions are needed for people wearing prosthesis or having pacemaker or suffering diabetes.
  • Please note that for all persons after radio therapy and chemotherapy -all physical therapy is contraindicated for a period of 5 years following the last treatment session.
