Faradic Facial Toning with Rio Lift

Faradic facial toning uses EMS (Electrical Muscles Stimulation) to repeatedly contract and relax facial muscles to help tone, lift and tighten them. Faradic electrical muscle stimulation is gentle and relaxing and because it is a passive muscle exercise, it does not need any effort physical effort. The stimulation increases local circulation, helps to bring more oxygen to the skin cells and remove toxins accumulated in the treated area. Faradic facial toning with Rio Lift leaves the skin feeling refreshed, lifted and rejuvenated.

Rio Lift has two faradic programmes:

• Faradic Programme 1: Firming

During Firming treatment, rhythmic muscles contractions condition muscles. The programme has 17 adjustable intensity levels. You should start on a low level each time and build up until contractions are felt.

• Faradic Programme 2: Tap Toning

This is a fast stimulation programme with pulsing massage that tones and firms your facial muscles.  

Conductive gel should be spread on the contacts of the Rio Lift to ensure appropriate conduction of the electric micro current into the skin.

Conductive Gel ingredients: Aqua, PEG-40 Castor Oil, Carbomer, Phenoxythanol, Triethanolamine, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Butylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Isobutylparaben, CI 42090.

For best results you should perform faradic facial toning with Rio 60 Second face Lift every day for the first few weeks, alternating between programme 1 & 2. After you have achieved desired muscle tone, use as required to maintain results.

Iontophoresis Infusion with Rio Lift

Iontophoresis infusion uses small micro currents to carry the active ingredients essential for skin repair and rejuvenation deeply into the skin. This transdermal infusion greatly increases the effectiveness of topically applied skin treatments, which would otherwise find it difficult to penetrate the skin.

Rio Lift gel patches contain positively charged collagen and retinol, which have anti aging and anti wrinkle effects. When placing the positive contact of the Rio Lift on the skin patch and the negative contact on the skin, these active ingredients are directly pulled into the skin.

The infusion programme gives a continuous high frequency sensation. Iontophoresis infusion programme has 10 power levels. You should start on a lower level on each treatment and build up till a strong tingling sensation is felt.

Short term results can usually be seen almost immediately and long lasting improvements can be achieved with regular use.

The Lift collagen and retinol patches are profiled and will fit in all recommended iontophoresis infusion treatment zones, such as under the eyes, across the forehead, around the mouth and across the chin.

Most of the infusion takes place in the first 5 - 10 minutes on each treatment area, but you can leave the patches in place for up to 1 hour. The patches are designed for single use only and should be discarded after removal from your face.

An instructional DVD is enclosed and we recommend that you watch this interesting programme prior to first use as it demonstrates how to use the Rio 60 Second Face Lift step by step. The user manual is illustrated and it is also very easy to follow and you can use it to refresh your memory about all the steps of the treatment with the Rio Lift.

Rio Lift is battery operated and uses 1 x 9V PP3 battery.   

Rio 60 Second Face Lift precautions

1.    Do not use Rio Lift if you are pregnant or have a pacemaker, heart disorder, epilepsy, diabetes, multiple sclerosis or are you recovering from an operation.
2.    Do not use on areas of skin disorders, such as rosacea, pustular acne, abraded skin, sensitive skin or over scars, moles or varicose veins.
3.    Keep the contact balls at least 1 cm away from your eyes.
4.    Carry out a patch test before using the conductive gel and/or the Lift patches.
5.    Please note that all precautions are listed in the Rio Lift user manual for your review and attention.
