Stimulec Facial Plus is a dual channel device. Each channel supports 2 self adhesive skin pads. During the treatment you should place the 2 electrodes from one channel on one side of your face and the 2 electrodes powered by the other channel on the other side of the face. This means that you treat both sides of your face at the same time with the electrodes in the same positions, but on the opposite side of the face.
Alternatively, if required or preferred or recommended by a physiotherapist, when the Stimulec is used in Facial Palsy treatment, all 4 electrodes can be placed on the same side of the face in different positions.
Recommended electrode placement positions are illustrated in the electrode placement manual enclosed with the Stimulec.
