Thermotherapy is the application of heat at temperatures varying between +45°C and +55°C to the body for pain relief and wellbeing.

Heat dilates blood vessels and increases blood flow to the treated area, thus increasing cellular deliveries of nutrients and oxygen essential for better healing. Cryotherapy - Cold Therapy - Ice Pack Therapy
Cryotherapy is a therapeutic application of cold. SunIce delivers localized cryotherapy that is similar to ice pack therapy.
Low temperatures (circa 0ºC) lead to vasoconstriction that reduces blood flow and relieves pain, swelling and inflammation. Ice pack therapy, in which an ice pack is applied over traumatized or injured area or swelling, reduces discomfort and minimizes painful muscle guarding over the injury. The applied cold soothes muscular spasm, edema and inflammation. Local cryotherapy is commonly used to alleviate pain associated with minor injuries, such as bruising, strains and sprains. It also soothes headaches and tension and cools down overheated skin.
Additionally, cryotherapy is now recognized for its beneficial beauty effects on the skin. It helps to firm and tone the skin, reducing puffiness and signs of fatigue, whilst helping to restore radiance and clarity.

SunIce delivers thermotherapy and cryotherapy in one hand held portable device. SunIce gives you the power to apply soothing heat therapy just seconds apart from calming cold therapy - as you need and when you need!
Simply select your hot or cold therapy option by sliding the selector switch on the side of the device. By moving the selector switch to the red point, you activate heating of the blue aluminium disc on the adjustable rotating head of the device. By moving the selector switch to the dark blue point, the aluminium disc begins to cool.
SunIce has been designed for easy ergonomic holding during use. The adjustable head rotates on a 90º axis, allowing effective and comfortable application to almost any part of the body. Gripping the SunIce for firm application is aided by its 'soft touch' non slip feel.
Just select the hot or cold option and apply the head of the SunIce directly to the treatment area for a rapid and soothing relief.
