Thermofocus 0800H4 is an infrared non contact thermometer especially developed and studied for hospital use. It features AQCS and MQCS functions, which allow versatility of use in the varying conditions and differing ambient temperatures of examination or treatment rooms, A&E cubicles, patients' rooms or operating theatres of hospitals and clinics as well as in ambulances, mobile hospitals, air ambulances, sea rescue boats and military rescue vehicles. Advanced patented quick stabilisation technology enables Thermofocus to cope with temperature changes and the LCD display shows a countdown time needed for the thermometer to stabilize into different temperature for accuracy of measurements.Stabilisation can be achieved using the Automatic Quick Calibration System (AQCS) that normally takes circa 5 minutes, regardless of the magnitude of temperature difference or using Manual Quick Calibration System (MQCS) for immediate stabilization versus a reference object, which takes only 3 seconds.

The right distance between the thermometer and the body surface (i.e. the forehead, neck or navel) is determined by 2 red light beams emitted by LED system located on the head of the thermometer. This is the Optical Aiming System that guarantees correct positioning and distance from the body for accurate and reliable temperature measurements. When the thermometer is moved closer to the body surface, the 2 beams converge to form a single red spot on the skin, indicating the correct distance for temperature taking. The light beams are absolutely harmless and there is no need for concern, even if the light points or shines into the eyes. When the lights form a single red spot, release the button and keep still for less than a second. After the lights flash, the temperature appears on the LCD display. The Thermofocus 0800H4 is equipped with backlight illumination of the LCD display for 2 seconds after every measurement. The light bulb permits reactivation of the backlight for 2 seconds thereafter to enable easy reading. The Thermofocus 0800H4 is supplied with a special lanyard with quick instructions on the fabric and a special Target Disc that facilitates the MQCS.
You can set the measurements to be shown in ºC (Celsius) or ºF (Fahrenheit). It has a temperature range from 1ºC to 55ºC (33.8º to 131ºC).

Thermofocus is economical to use and does not require costly maintenance. It is battery powered with battery life expectancy of 10 000 measurements or 3 years, depending on use. Thermofocus thermometers use 4 x AAA (LR03 type) alkaline batteries.
The only step you must take to maintain Thermofocus is to close the cap at the tip of the device to protect it from dust and damage.
